Welcome

Our aim is to give youngsters in Horsham the opportunity to experience a wide range of fun activities - from crafts and games to camping and climbing - with other children of their own age.

Scouting enables young people between 6 and 18 years of age to 'learn by doing'.

They do this by taking part in a variety of activities and new experiences and learn some wonderful skills that they will use for the
rest of their lives.

· exploring the outdoors
· participating in teams
· taking responsibility

ADULTS WANTED!

Do you think it is important for young people to grow up with good and positive influences in theirs lives?

Do you think that when this happens young people will achieve better at school, get on better with other people, will find and hold down better jobs?

Do you think that when a young person is having fun they are more likely to learn and retain information?

Do you think that it is a good thing for young people to enjoy the outdoors and to be involved in activities that stretch them spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally?

If you are an adult and think the above are true ……. you ought to be in Scouting!

Scouting needs adults who think it is important that our young people develop and grow into responsible and capable adults – just like you.

5th/10th Horsham Scout Groups needs people - just like you!

'If you want to know more about the contribution you can make to the development of young people just give me a call or drop me an email '
