Welcome to 5th / 10th Horsham

The 5th and 10th Horsham Scouts merged together in 2004, bringing groups established in 1937 and 1958 together. We are now one of the largest Scout Groups in the Horsham District with two Beaver colonies, two Cub packs, two Scout troops and a partner Explorer unit providing Scouting and skills for life to over 180 young people.

We meet in our purpose-built HQ in Bennetts field which has great access to the local community and we make regular use of our camping area in Colgate for both evenings and weekend activities.

Adult volunteers

The Scouts award-winning training scheme for volunteers means that adults get as much from Scouts as young people.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
